1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Motherloom and any purchases you make through our store. By accessing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Motherloom.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By using Motherloom, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that any information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Your Account

If you create an account, you're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Orders and Pricing

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹). Where applicable, prices are inclusive of GST as indicated on the product page.
• Orders are subject to product availability and our acceptance.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if pricing or product details are incorrect, the item is out of stock, or fraud is suspected.
• You'll receive an order confirmation email once payment is processed. The contract of sale is formed only when we accept your order, not at the time of order placement.

5. Payment

We accept payments through UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (where available). All payment processing is handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partners. We never store your full card or banking details on our servers.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship pan-India through reliable courier partners. Delivery timelines shown on product pages are estimates — actual delivery may vary based on your location, courier availability, and external factors (weather, festivals, lockdowns). 7. Returns and Refunds

• We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery for most products.
• Items must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact, and accompanied by the original invoice.
• Certain items are not eligible for return — including intimate wear, customised products, perishables, and items marked "Final Sale".
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of return acceptance.
• Cash on Delivery refunds are processed via bank transfer to an account in the customer's name.

8. Product Descriptions and Variations

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, images, and pricing. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or size may occur — particularly for handcrafted, handloom, or naturally sourced products. These variations are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Motherloom — including text, images, logos, product photographs, graphics, and website design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

10. User Conduct

When using Motherloom, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data.
• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information (including reviews and feedback).
• Interfere with the site's functionality or security.

11. Limitation of Liability

Motherloom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Motherloom, its affiliates, and its staff harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Motherloom will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our registered location, except where superseded by mandatory consumer-protection laws.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of Motherloom after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
